Our heritage
Adams Moorhouse was established in 1987 in a modest office in Wembley. From the beginning we set out to deliver accountancy and auditing services of the highest standard, and as our client base grew our need for space grew with it. In 1992 we relocated to larger premises at Malcolm House in Wembley, and in 2002, with a growing professional team, we moved to our current offices in North Harrow. Through each move and every stage of that growth, the values the firm was founded on have not changed.

Personal service has been the cornerstone of our practice since its inception. Every business and every individual needs tailored financial guidance rather than a generic approach, and that is what we provide.
We do not set out to be the cheapest option. Our expertise
We offer a full range of accountancy and advisory services to support businesses and individuals at every stage. Alongside the accounts, tax and payroll work that every practice offers, we have particular depth in the following areas.
- Statutory audit and accounts. External audits under International Standards on Auditing (UK) and statutory accounts under FRS 102 and FRS 105 for companies, groups and charities, including UK subsidiaries of overseas parents that need group reporting packs as well as Companies Act filings. The partner who plans the audit is the partner who signs it.
- International and cross border work. A significant part of our client base has a connection to the UK from abroad. We advise non resident owners of UK property and businesses, families with assets in more than one country, and overseas groups with a UK presence, on non resident capital gains tax, the Annual Tax on Enveloped Dwellings, stamp duty land tax, temporary non residence provisions, and cross border inheritance tax and trust structures.
- Strategic tax planning. Corporation tax, capital gains, VAT and employment taxes, with the emphasis on what happens before the return: structuring a purchase, timing a disposal, extracting profits efficiently, and dealing with HMRC enquiries and security notices before they become disputes.
- Advisory services. From corporate share structures and business valuations to forensic accounting support in commercial disputes, built around your specific commercial objectives rather than a standard product.
The firm is regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, is registered to carry out statutory audit work in the United Kingdom, and is licensed by ICAEW for a range of investment business activities.
